Trip to Nurburgring 2010

Just gauging some interest in a trip to Nurburgring for 2010, looking to organising it for April time..

I was lucky enough to go last April for a week, and if your a huge petrol head, then you will love it..!

Price wise, your looking about 500-600 quid for a full week there, this includes -

Ferry from Newcastle to Ijmuiden in Holland - Looking about £200 return i reckon..
6 nights camping in Nurburg - 10 Euro's a night
Food - Very cheap as there is a Lidl in the town centre
Beer - Again beers can be bought from Lidl
Eating out - not too bad a price, not loads of selection, but there are a couple of nice places to eat

This total price would vary with fuel costs, we went halves on fuel driving a Renault Clio Cup for a week, and we did it on less than 500 quid all in... If you dont want to camp, then there are a couple of hotels in the town

Laps for the 'ring are about 20 euros a lap.. the more you buy, the cheaper it is for you, and you can also buy them in bulk, say 10 or 20 etc..

The fuel sold in Nurburg is 100RON too

Would love to go but I'm off to Cyprus month after.

I definately want to go this, i dont know about going for a full 7 days i was thinking more like 3 nights for damage limitation on the 'ring lol

Well an idea could be to stay in Amsterdam for a couple of nights, (sample the nightlife n such like , and then spend the rest of the time at the 'Ring??

As i say, just open to different ideas, and when we get numbers, then we can start to get it planned

deff up for this, a week would be ace, 2 1/2 days going, 2 days there, 2 1/2 days back. get up to some mischief on the way. my sobriety will be on hold

yeah i think a week so about 5 days would be a good idea. three of us definately want to do it anyway

Just a quick update....

Looking to book this trip around Jan time, so looking for numbers who will be DEFFO going, as the sooner we get the ferry booked, then the cheaper it will be.. Places for the ferry soon get booked up, and we need to know how many people will be going to this

Righty folks...

It looks like we may be going to the Ring in the summer time, as the weather is better, and also it gives people plenty of time to get money together.. Still looking about 500-600 notes for a week

I need a show of hands as to who will be coming for DEFFO, as ferry etc needs to be booked..
Looking around June/July time if this is poss..
